Anchor House seeks school supplies, book bags

Anchor House, Inc., a Trenton-based nonprofit serving homeless, runaway, and abused and neglected children and youth, is seeking donations for its 2014 Book Bag and School Supplies Drive.

The agency, which has provided a safe haven for kids in crisis for 36 years, is seeking materials for elementary through high school students.

Items requested include #2 pencils, one- and three-subject spiral-bound notebooks, three-prong folders, backpacks, book covers, calculators, colored pencils, crayons, erasers, glue sticks, hand sanitizer, highlighters, marble notebooks, markers, notebook paper, pencil boxes, pens, pocket folders, rulers, scissors and sharpeners.

Donations can be dropped off at Anchor House, 482 Centre Street, Trenton.
