The Trenton Animal Shelter reported on its

Facebook page

yesterday that all 47 dogs rescued in a

hoarding case

are safe. Dogs that needed immediate medical attention were transported to the

Center for Animal Referral and Emergency Services

in Langhorne, Pennsylvania

.

According to Trenton Animals Rock, a nonprofit that provides services to injured, abused and abandoned animals, two of the dogs are in critical condition, and three others were hospitalized. All were found malnourished, dehydrated and “terrified.”

Trenton Animals Rock is seeking donations to assist with the care of the dogs. The organization is also in need of fosters and requests that adoptions be made through Trenton Animals Rock or the Trenton Animal Shelter to open up space for the hoarding rescues in existing foster homes.
