The Trenton Downtown Association held a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of Pink Diamond Boutique last week at 110 West State St., Trenton.

During the opening celebration, Trenton Northward Councilwoman Marge Caldwell-Wilson presented Pink Diamond Boutique owner Tamica Freeman with a certificate of recognition from the Trenton City Council to welcome her to the business community.

The afternoon began with community members mingling and shopping during the “Sip and Shop” event. People indulged in a fresh fruit bar of edible arrangements created by Charles Watkins as well as other light refreshments.

People then browsed the selections of clothing and accessories. Freeman’s lifelong sense of style has led to friends and family members requesting to be styled by her. Inspired by this, she has set out to make women look and feel beautiful from head to toe.

Pink Diamond Boutique offers a posh environment for women to enjoy fashion. Setting this boutique apart from other retailers is their in-house seamstress for all tailoring and garment repair needs. The Beauty Bar offers hair and makeup services by appointment.
