Crisp outdoor weather and warm creative interiors will again beckon art lovers to Trenton this November, as the fifth annual Art All Day is scheduled to take place throughout the city on Saturday, Nov. 12 from noon to 5 p.m., followed by a reception at Artworks.

Artists and arts collectives will show their work and meet attendees from a variety of studio and pop-up spaces, with businesses and non-profits also showcasing the creative energy that is reanimating Trenton.

Throughout the afternoon there will be guided walking, bicycle and trolley tours which will start at Artworks and take visitors to the city’s newest murals, art spaces and artist studios. New spaces being included for the first time include those of the Trenton Community A-Team and Trenton Coffee House and Roaster.

Other new participants in 2016 include, the Trenton Circus Squad, Champs Bar art and music venue, and the William Trent House. Returning favorites include, Galeria Casa Cultura, Trenton Area Soup Kitchen, SAGE Coalition, the Capital City Farm and more.

“The secret is out about Trenton the cool, funky art town, but the city can still be difficult to navigate, and locating where the creative action is can be daunting,” said Artworks Executive Director and Art All Day founder Lauren Otis. “Art All Day opens up all these art and cultural gems on one day and gives you a map to find them.”

On Nov. 12, Art All Day attendees can park for free at Artworks’ 19 Everett Alley headquarters, take in the Artists of Art All Day group show at the Artworks main gallery, on view from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m., visit studios on site and sample from several local food trucks before taking a map and embarking on their art tour.

Art All Day walking, bicycle and trolley tours all leave from Artworks. After the open studio tour throughout Trenton, taking place from noon to 5 p.m., visitors can return to Artworks for a free reception from 6 to 8 p.m.

Registration for artists and community partners is open until Oct. 3. Artists and community partners without a Trenton presence or space are welcome, and will be paired with a pop-up space during Art All Day.
