The Robbinsville Irish Heritage Association (RIHA) is set to hold a Céilidh event on Saturday, November 7, 2015 from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. to celebrate the announcement of the 2016 St. Patrick’s Day Parade Grand Marshal and 2016 Irish Person of the Year. The event will be held at St. Gregory the Great Church’s Ferrante Hall located at 4620 Nottingham Way in Hamilton Square.

Céilidh (kay-lee) is a Celtic social gathering that involves the playing of traditional music and traditional dancing. The event will feature a professional dance caller to guide participants through the traditional line-style dances. The event will have live music from Bill O’Neal and Andy Koontz and food and drink will be available for purchase from local Robbinsville eatery Centro Grille. The admission price of $10 (under 14 free) goes towards funding the 7th Annual Robbinsville St. Patrick’s Day Parade, scheduled for Saturday, March 19, 2016.

The event is open to all ages and families are encouraged to attend.
