Robbinsville Edinburg Road to close Sept. 10

Beginning Tuesday, Sept. 10, the Mercer County Department of Transportation will begin extensive repairs on Robbinsville Edinburg Road between Lake Drive and Route 33.

The road will be closed to thru traffic Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., until approximately Friday, Sept. 27, the target completion date. All businesses will be accessible, and arrangements have been made for school buses. Residents living within the detour zone will be allowed in and out.

The primary detour will take drivers from Washington Boulevard to Hutchinson Road to Route 526, and then the same route in reverse. There will be no parking on the road during the posted work hours.
