Robbinsville-Edinburg Road (County Route 526) is scheduled for resurfacing beginning Thursday, July 10, with work expected to take up to 10 business days, weather permitting.

According to the township, the project will cover the stretch between Lake Drive and Chambers Farm Road, addressing deteriorated pavement surface conditions.

Work will focus on milling and resurfacing of the existing roadway and reconstruction of the current lane configurations. It does not include future planned improvements for the same area.

The construction is being coordinated as an interjurisdictional project, with Mercer County managing signage and detour planning.

From 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on weekdays during construction, Robbinsville-Edinburg Road will be closed to through traffic, with detours in place directing drivers to Lake Drive, Hutchinson Road, Pond Road, Beechwood Drive, Tindall Road, Annie Lane, Sara Drive and Chambers Farm Road.

Local residents, emergency vehicles, and municipal services will still have access to the affected section. Outside of construction hours, the road will remain open with normal traffic patterns.

Advance warning signs will be posted before the start date to notify motorists of the scheduled roadwork.
