The Lewis Center for the Arts is set to host two events Jan. 18.
Muscle Memory, a multi-media art show, is set for 6:30 p.m. at Lucas Gallery.
The Lewis Center said students enrolled in the Muscle Memory course in both Programs in Dance and Visual Arts studied the relationship between sculpture and dance.
Students are set to present work that resulted from their studies at the show.
A screening of three student-made documentaries is set for 7 p.m. at the James M. Stewart ‘32 Theater with a reception to follow.
The Lewis center said the films were created as part of Documentary Filmmaking taught by filmmaker Emily Abt.
The documentaries are “Lost Boy,” “Battle for the Field” and “Moo.”
The Lewis Centered said “Lost Boy” is a look into the life of a young man struggling with drugs and violence that traps him and his family. It was directed and produced by Rana Campbell with Sandra Fong ’13 as cinematographer and editor, and Shaina Watrous as co-producer and gaffer.
The Lewis Center said “Battle for the Field” chronicles fights over Princeton’s land important its academic and history sectors. The film was directed and edited by Brady Valashinas with Thomas Gibbons serving as cinematographer and producer and Lynse Cooper as sound recordist and gaffer.
The Lewis Center said Moo is the story of the “strongest little girl you’ll ever meet,” and her biggest fan, her Tiger Family. The film was directed and produced by Christina Maida with Eric Traub as cinematographer and editor and Adam Locher serving as gaffer and sound recordist.
