PSO set to present Broadway POPS! Feb. 6

Princeton Symphony Orchestra’s annual Broadway POP! performance is set for Feb. 9.

The performance is set for 8 p.m. at Richardson Auditorium, 68 Nassau St., Princeton.

PSO said this year’s Broadway POPS! is called The Garland Magic. Soprano Karen Mason is set to recreate Judy Garland’s performance at Carnegie Hall.

PSO is set to perform Get Happy, Puttin’ on the Ritz, Come Rain or Come Shine and Somewhere Over the Rainbow.

PSO said Mason has performed in Broadway and 0ff-Broadway productions. She recently played The Queen of Hearts in Wonderland on Broadway.

PSO said the orchestra will be led by Michael Berkowitz, conductor of the Santa Rosa Symphony in California.

PSO said Triumph Brewing Company in Princeton has waived the cover charge and is offering one free drink for ticket holders following the performance.

PSO said ticket prices range from $25 to $68.
