PSO honors Melanie Clarke at May performance

Princeton Symphony Orchestra honored executive director Melanie Clarke at their May 17 performance, Viva Verdi! PSO’s board of trustees created The Melanie Clarke Fund in her honor to thank her for her 25 years of service to the orchestra.

PSO music director Rossen Milanov and board president David Tierno presented Clarke with flowers and an oil painting of the orchestra commissioned by Philadelphia-based artist, Gregory Prestegord.

The Melanie Clarke Fund supports innovation and excellence in the PSO by funding the operations of the orchestra including community engagement, partnerships with other musical organizations and the BRAVO! music education program.

The Melanie Clarke Fund was created with an initial commitment of $200,000 from the orchestra’s board of trustees.
