Weichert Financial Services president Stephen Adamo announced that Princeton resident Tim McLaughlin has been named to the newly created position of chief operating officer.

In addition to assuming this new role, McLaughlin will retain his responsibilities in the company’s Capital Markets division.

McLaughlin joined Weichert Financial Services in 2004 as senior vice president of secondary marketing and has successfully taken on several additional functions during his tenure with the company.

“Promoting Tim to chief operating officer will better prepare us for 2015 and beyond,” Adamo said in a statement. “This position will be critical as we continue to chart the course for the future and implement new technologies and processes that will further streamline the loan manufacturing process.”

McLaughlin is also a member of Fannie Mae’s Regional Advisory Board.
