PEAC Health and Fitness has partnered with Rite Aid Pharmacy to offer flu shots to the community on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 between 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. at 1440 Lower Ferry Road in Ewing.

According to the Center for Disease Control (CDC), everyone 6 months of age and older should get a flu vaccine every season. Although vaccination against influenza is particularly important for high risk individuals such as seniors, children, and pregnant women, anyone can get very sick from the flu and can spread it to others. Influenza is a serious disease that can lead to hospitalization and even death.

This flu shot clinic shall be held at PEAC Health and Fitness and is open to the community. Flu shots can be billed through insurance. Appointments are recommended, walk- ins are accepted. To make an appointment, contact PEAC at (609) 883-2000.
