NSMS students perform in New York

New School for Music Study students Ananya Mukherjee (Princeton), Julia Jasnosz (Montgomery), and Quetzel Baum (Hopewell) performed at venues in New York City as winners in the Music-Fest Rising Talents Auditions. The concerts took place in March and April as the culmination of an audition process that began in February.

Baum and Jasnosz performed at NYC’s Merkin Hall of the Kauffman Music Center, while Mukherjee performed in Carnegie Hall’s Weill Concert Hall.

Songs performed included Prelude in D-flat Major (Chopin), Nocturne in C-sharp Minor (Chopin), and First Arabesque (Debussy).

NSMS is one of the country’s leading centers in piano education and provides a variety of programs and classes for students.

NSMS is located at 4543 Rt 27 in Kingston.
