This year marks the 25th anniversary of Lawrence Township’s annual Community Day, a time for residents, businesses and organization to enjoy all that the township has to offer. This year’s Community Day is scheduled to be held on Sunday, Oct. 5.

Community Day provides residents the opportunity to learn more about Lawrence Township, what is available and just how to take advantage of these services and programs.

Dozens of local businesses, organizations and agencies will be there to provide information about their particular program, organization or service.

Attendees can expect to see youth sports groups, chiropractors, environmental groups, municipal and county offices, and much more. Stop and get your blood pressure reading or register to vote.

For the kids there will be pony rides, magic and games. Gabrielle Kanter of the Young Artists of NJ will help interested participants build a community story quilt.

Sponsored by Lawrence Township Education Association through a Lawrence Township Education Foundation grant Miss Amy and her Big Kids Band will put on a fitness Rock and Roll Family Concert. 107.7 the Bronc radio station will be on hand for a live broadcast.
