Students challenged to Earth Day video contest

In celebration of Earth Day, the Mercer County Improvement Authority is sponsoring a video contest.

Students participating in the Mercer County Recycles Video Contest are challenged to submit a three-minute on the benefits of organic/food waste recycling.

The contest is open to students in kindergarten through 12th grade. The deadline for video submission is March 31.

Prizes will be award for first, second and third place in three categories; kindergarten through fifth grade, sixth through eighth grade and ninth through 12th grade. MCIA plans to announce winners during Earth Day week.

The contest is sponsored by the MCIA and New Jersey Clean Communities.
