The Unlimited Potential Theater Company, a project of VSA New Jersey, is seeking poems, essays, short stories and plays by New Jersey residents.

VSA New Jersey is accepting entries for the 21st annual Joyce Indik New Jersey Wordsmith Competition.

The contest is open to all writers age 18 and older; submissions by writers with disabilities are especially encouraged.

Works submitted will be juried by a panel of judges, and winning works will be showcased at the New Jersey Readers’ Theatre in the spring of 2015. The deadline for submissions is scheduled for Sept. 29.

There is no entry fee for this competition. In lieu of a fee, a donation is welcomed to cover the cost of the competition.

VSA New Jersey is an affiliate of VSA, a program of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, and is dedicated to promoting the creative power of people with disabilities.
