As part of St. Ann School’s 50th anniversary, students participated in the Birthday in a Box service project.

Students in pre-k through eighth grade put together wrapped boxes filled with supplies for a birthday party along with a gift for the birthday boy or girl.

Each homeroom donated one box to HomeFront, a Lawrence based organization that aims to to end homelessness in Central New Jersey.

On Oct. 18, Djenaba Figueroa from Homefront accepted the donations the students collected.

Students ended the day with a cupcake party on the school grounds to celebrate their hard work and the school’s birthday.
