Road conditions are slick on Route 206 from Lawrence to Montgomery after a vehicle leaked or spilled an unknown fluid, the Princeton Police Department said.

The vehicle exited the interstate in Lawrence Township and traveled in the northbound lane of Route 206. The spill has made the roadway slippery from Lawrence to at least the Princeton border with Montgomery Township.

The New Jersey Department of Transportation has been notified of the spill. Drivers should be cognizant of the slick conditions—allow for extended stopping distances and drive slowly and with caution. Princeton Police advised drivers to operate their vehicles like they would during a snowstorm.
