Santa visits St. Francis Medical Center

The cafeteria at St. Francis Medical Center was transformed into Santa’s Workshop as children from the community enjoyed a host of activities on Dec. 7.

St. Francis Medical Center Foundation Community Fundraising Council hosted a Brunch with Santa for more than 150 children and their families.

After a continental breakfast, children enjoyed face painting and arts and crafts. They made reindeer food while waiting for a visit from Santa.

Singers from Villa Victoria Academy performed Christmas.

Children got their picture taken with Santa and left with goodie bags. Lawrence Lexus vice president and chairman of the foundation’s Board of Trustees, Brian Bennett portrayed Santa.

The Community Fundraising Council plans a variety of events for the community throughout the year such as A Toast to Your Health, which was held on Nov. 7 this year. This was the first Brunch with Santa.
