Lawrenceville Main Street has partnered with the America Small Business Development Center at The College of New Jersey.

Through the partnership, LMS can connect local businesses with ASBSC, which has a roster of professionals who help small business owners address challenges they face on a daily basis.

The SBDC has access to practicing professionals expertise in various areas. Some areas they specialize in are marketing and positioning strategies, finance, strategic planning, government procurement, operational improvements and business communications.

TCNJ’s ASBDC is part of the state- and nationwide network of centers designed to provide free and confidential small business management counseling and low-cost comprehensive training workshops.

The center has an A-Team to analyze, assess, advise and create action plans. These services are offered free of charge to area businesses.

ASBCS’s regional director Lorraine Allen notes that “this program is fully supported by their tax dollars. The businesses are entitled to this benefit and we have found it can make a real difference between stalling and moving forward.”

Lawrenceville Main Street is a volunteer-led organization dedicated to enhancing the economy, appearance, and image of Lawrence Township, by organizing events, building partnerships, and cultivating the business environment.
