The 2018 Mercer County Senior Art Show will take place from July 18 through Aug. 3 at the Meadow Lakes Gallery in East Windsor.

The exhibit, which is sponsored by the Mercer County Division of Culture & Heritage and the Office on Aging, features original artworks created within the past three years, from drawings to paintings to crafts, by Mercer County residents age 60 or older.

“Mercer County has so many older adults who tap into their creativity to create new works of art,” said Mercer County Executive Brian M. Hughes. “I am looking forward to seeing the work of many talented artists on display this summer.”

A professional juror selects the winner in this show. Up to 22 artists (one “professional” winner and one “non-pro” winner in each of the 11 categories) may move on to the statewide competition, the New Jersey Senior Art Show, to be held Sept. 20 through Oct. 26 at Meadow Lakes, a Springpoint Senior Living Community on Etra Road, just off Route 571, in East Windsor.
