Mercer County Community College will be debuting three new degree programs during the 2014-2015 school year.

The new programs are Security Systems Technology, a degree program that prepares students for jobs supporting the selling, installation and management and technical support of physical systems technologies in an IP-based networked environment; Public Health, which focuses on the practice of maintaining a health population through education, research, public policy, regulation and working with health care professionals; and Heath Information Technology, a joint initiative with Camden County College that allows Mercer students to take their general education requirements at MCCC and their program courses online. The degree prepares students to work with health care organizations and professionals, assuring compliance with health care privacy laws and the proper maintenance of medical records.

New credit courses added to the MCCC curriculum for Fall include Internet Tools and Techniques, Android Application Development, and Spanish for Health Providers.
