Lawrenceville Elementary School music specialist Rebecca Young directed her final kindergarten concert on June 6, 2013. After 24 years of teaching in Lawrence Township schools, Young is set to retire in June.

The concert’s theme was Weaving a Wonderful World. Kindergartners sang It’s Such a Good Feeling by Fred Rogers and I Will Sing Hello by Cheryl Lavendar.

Additionally, kindergartner Max Schragger wrote and performed a special song on guitar in honor of his music teacher’s retirement.

The final song, What a Wonderful World by David Weiss and Bob Thiele, was dedicated to Young.
