Lawrence school district accepting pre-school applications

The Lawrence Township Public School District is currently accepting applications for the 2015-2016 pre-school programs.

The programs are located at Ben Franklin and Lawrenceville Elementary Schools and service typically developing, low income and special needs children three and four year olds.

The Ben Franklin program will meet from 9:30 a.m. to 3:20 p.m. Monday through Friday and the Lawrenceville Elementary School program will meet from 8:30 to 2:20 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Tuition for either program is $650 a month. Transportation will not be provided for tuition students.

Eligibility requires that children must be at least three or four years of age (and not turn five on or before October 1, 2015), a resident of Lawrence Township and toilet trained.

Applications are available at the Board of Education office, located at 2565 Princeton Pike; the Ben Franklin Elementary School main office, located at 2939 Princeton Pike; the Lawrenceville Elementary School main office located at 40 Craven Lane; and online at ltps.org/parents.cfm?subpage=11976.

Applications should be returned by March 9.
