Lawrence Office on Aging to host computer camp and flea market

Lawrence Township’s Office on Aging has computer lessons and two other activities planned for august.

Computer Camp is designed for Lawrence residents 60 years of age and older who would like to gain or strengthen their basic computer skills. Lessons include mouse basics and internet use.

There are two sessions scheduled; Aug. 9 and 16 from 10 to 11:15 a.m. at the Lawrence Branch of the Mercer County Library, 2751 Brunswick Pike, Lawrenceville. Participants should be able to attend both sessions.

Space is limited; registration is at the Lawrence Township Senior Center, 30 East Darrah Lane, Lawrenceville.

An indoor flea market is set for 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug 17 at the senior center.

Seniors and local vendors can purchase a table to sell general merchandise, arts and crafts, and household items. The cost of a table is $10 for the general public and $5 for Lawrence seniors.

Coffee, water, hot dogs, soda and other refreshments are set to be available for sale.

The senior center is scheduled to be open Monday evenings during the summer for Stay Cool Fun Nights. It is set for 6 to 8:30 p.m. on Mondays from July 8 to Aug. 26.

Fun Nights feature bingo, computer usage, board games, cards, dominoes and refreshments.

Registration is required; seniors can sign up at the senior center.
