Lawrence Nature Center to present family night events in August

The Lawrence Nature Center is set to continue its popular Family Night series on Tuesdays at 7 p.m. throughout August 2015. These programs for parents and young children are free of charge and require no registration. Programs will be held at 481 Drexel Avenue in Lawrence Township.

Family night programs include “Sheep to Shawl,” presented by Belina Silver on August 4, “Mushroom Paper,” with Virginia Tomat and Richard Kelly on August 11, “Wonder of Nature,” with environmentalist Sonja Michaluk on August 18 and “Campfire stories,” and marshmellow roasting with storyteller Mike Erdie on August 25.

Programs are sponsored by the Friends of the Lawrence Nature Center. Light refreshments will be served at the end of the programs.
