Lawrence Little League celebrates opening day

Lawrence Little League held its opening day parade on April 26 at Lawrence Central Park.

Mayor Patricia Hendricks Farmer threw out the first baseball pitch and Director Ted Forst threw out the first softball pitch.

There are 507 girls and boys ages 4 through 12 participating in the program this year.
