Hopewell Valley Pop Warner seeks new players

Hopewell Valley Pop Warner is looking for football players to fill out their rosters.

HVPW has openings on its Flag team for ages five to seven, Tiny Mite tackle team for players age five to seven weighing 35 to 75 pounds, and Pee Wee tackle team for players age nine to 11 weighing 75 to 120 pounds or 12 year olds weighing 75 to 100 pounds.

Practice is set to begin Aug. 11.

HVPW has partnered with USA Football and its Heads Up Football program, which helps coaches teach proper “heads up” blocking and tackling techniques.

The league is open to Hopewell, Lawrence, Ewing and Princeton residents.

Registration is scheduled to close July 29.
