Lawrence Intermediate School sixth grader, Alison Middlebrook, won first place in bars at the USA Gymnastics NJ Level 6 State Championship Jan. 27, 2013. Her team, Arena Gymnastics, won first place at the competition.
Lawrence resident, Alison Middlebrook, won first place in two categories at the USA Gymnastics NJ Level 6 State Championship Jan. 27.
Middlebrook, age 12, earned first place in bars. She and her team, Arena Gymnastics Level 6, earned the state championship title.
Her teammate, Stephanie Zannella, set a new state record and earned first place in floor exercise. Another member, Mia Brades earned first place for vault.
Middlebrook is a sixth grader at Lawrence Intermediate School.
