Freedom Festival to return to Mercer County Park

The Mercer County Park Commission is set to usher in Independence Day celebrations with the 10th annual Freedom Festival.

The festival, hosted in conjunction with radio station 94.5 WPST, is scheduled for 3 to 11 p.m. June 28 at Mercer County Park Festival Grounds in West Windsor.

The event features food, beer and wine gardens, craft vendors, live music, tethered hot-air balloon rides, games, water rides, mechanical bull, a children’s area with inflatable rides, and other attractions.

The festival is set to culminate in a fireworks display at nightfall.

This year’s concert lineup is scheduled to start at 3 p.m. with the Mercer County Symphonic Band, followed by Under Pressure at 5 p.m., Kristen and the Noise at 6:30 p.m. and Burnt Sienna at 8:30 p.m. . Burnt Sienna will conclude its set immediately following the fireworks display at dusk.
