Eye and Mind exhibition opens Feb. 7

Artist Geoffrey Dorfman discusses his upcoming exhibit at Rider University’s Art Gallery with gallery director Harry I. Naar. His work is set to be displayed Feb. 7 through March 3.

An exhibition by Geoffrey Dorfman is set to open Feb. 7.

Rider University Art Gallery is set to display Geoffrey Dorfman: Eye and Mind until March 3. An opening reception is set for 5 to 7 p.m. Feb. 3 at the gallery in the Bart Luedeke Center, 2083 Lawrenceville Road, Lawrenceville.

Gallery Director Harry I. Naar is set to lead a talk with the artist 7 p.m. Feb. 14.

Dorfman is an artist, writer and musician. He has received the Henry Ward Ranger prize from the National Academy of Design and a National Endowment for the Arts Individual Fellowship Grant.

He is currently a professor at the College of Staten Island(CUNY).

The gallery is open 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday and 12 to 4 p.m. Sunday.
