Mercer County’s One-Stop Career Center is helping Amazon fill positions at its newest warehouse.

According to county executive Brian Hughes, since launching in April, more than 500 potential Amazon employees have taken advantage of the daily information sessions at the Mercer County One-Stop Career Center.

The mega warehouse, slated to open later this month, has met its initial hiring goal but the career center continues to welcome job seekers who are interested in a position with Amazon.

At the information sessions, job seekers receive valuable advice, including direct access to the Amazon application process, ways to polish their resumes and interviewing tips.

The information sessions are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday through Thursday and 10:30 a.m. Friday at the career center, 24 Yard Ave., Trenton.

Additionally, the new shuttle that will run from Hamilton Marketplace to the Matrix Business Park in Robbinsville, which is partially funded by Mercer County, is expected to be online the week of July 14.
