A bullying prevention workshop for parents is set for Jan. 23 at 7 p.m.

Top Tools for Preventing Bullying is set to take place at Lawrence High School, 2525 Princeton Pike, Lawrence.

The workshop is organized by the Character Team at Lawrenceville Elementary School.

Naomi Drew is set to be the featured speaker for the evening.

The Character Team said Drew is “recognized around the world” for her work in conflict resolution, peacemaking, and anti-bullying.

The Character Team said attendees will learn what to do if their children are being bullied, how to prevent them from being a target and ways to help children to stand up for themselves and others. Drew will also address what to do if you suspect your child is a bully.

Registration is online at nokiddingaboutbullying.eventbrite.com.

The Character Team said the workshop is free and childcare will be provided during the event.
