Adath Israel winter events

Adath Israel Congregation has three events set for the winter including a class.

Rabbi’s Class, One Book One Jewish Community, is set for Mondays and Tuesdays in January, February and March. The class is set discuss the book “What We Talk About When we Talk About Anne Frank,” stories by Nathan Englander.

The class is scheduled for two sections. The Monday class is scheduled for Jan. 28, Feb. 4, 11, 25 and March 4 and 11 at noon. The Tuesday class is scheduled for Jan. 22, 29 and Feb. 5, 12, 19 and 26 at 7:30p.m. Cost of the class is $36, not including the book.

A blood drive is set for Jan. 27 from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

A performance by The Minstrel and the Storyteller is set for Feb. 2 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The performers’ goal is honoring the oral traditions of the Jewish people. They draw their songs and stories from Ashkenazi and Sephardic sources.

All events are set to take place at Adath Israel Congregation, 1958 Lawrenceville Road, Lawrenceville.
