5-course farm-to-table dinner July 18 to benefit Mercer Green Fest

Terhune Orchards will host the 8th Annual Farm to Table Fundraiser Dinner for the Mercer Green Fest on Thursday, July 18, 2019.

The dinner will feature five courses with wine pairings and take place from 5 to 9 p.m.

For the sixth year, Terhune Orchards will collaborate with chefs from the Terra Momo Restaurant Group. Chefs from Eno Terra (Jason Hensle), Mediterra (Terry Strong and Emily Kirstein), Teresa Caffe (Toni Charmello), Terra Momo Bread Co. (Charmaine McFarlane and Denis Granarcio) and Albariño will prepared a seasonal menu featuring fruit and vegetables grown at Terhune Orchards as well as ingredients from other local farms. Each course will be paired with wines from Terhune Orchards Vineyards and Winery. Dinner will begin at 6:30 p.m.

Throughout the evening, Ocean Country Band, a Jersey Shore-based quartet, will play a mix of country bluegrass and rock cover songs. At the end of the night, guests will receive bags of produce grown at Terhune Orchards and a commemorative recipe booklet that includes menu items from the dinner.
