Attorney Larry Lustberg to speak at marriage equality forum at Har Sinai Temple.

Attorney Lawrence Lustberg, who recently won the landmark case that struck down New Jersey’s ban on gay marriage, is set to participate in a marriage equality forum.

Marriage Equality: The Start of a New Era: A Forum on Gay Marriage is scheduled for 7 to 9 p.m. Dec. 5 at Har Sinai Temple, 2421 Pennington Road, Pennington.

Lustberg is set to join two other experts in the debate surrounding marriage equality. Princeton Theological Seminary’s Chair of Theology William Stacy Johnson and legal director at Philadelphia’s Mazzoni Center David M. Rosenblum are also set to participate.

Johnson wrote A Time to Embrace, which examines the place of committed gay couples in society. Rosenblum is set to discuss efforts to get a same sex marriage law passed in Pennsylvania.

Retired Hunterdon County Superior Court Judge Peter Buchsbaum is set to moderate the forum. Audience members will have the opportunity to ask the experts questions after their initial presentations on the legal, religious and political aspects of gay marriage.

Those interested in attending can reserve a seat by calling (609) 730-8100.
