Pennington Parks and Recreation to host July Fourth races

The Pennington Parks and Recreation Commission is set to host the annual fourth of July races.

Race registration is scheduled to begin 9 a.m. July 4 at the Pennington School Track on Burd Street. Races are set to begin a 9:30 a.m.

The event is open to participants ages three to 12 and features relays, races, and the long jump competition.

The long jump is open to all ages; 4×400 relays are open to eight to 12 year old children. The event also includes 50, 200 and 400 meter races.

Refreshments will be provided and ribbons will be given out to all winners.
