Pennington dance to host summer workshops July 22 – 25

Pennington Dance is set to offer summer programs for all ages and abilities the week of July 22-25.

A musical theater workshop featuring the original Broadway choreography of A Chorus Line is set for 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

This workshop is designed for dancers age 10 and older. Dances include I Hope I Get It and One (Singular Sensation). Prior dance experience is strongly recommended. Cost is $160.

A dance technique workshop for children age seven to nine is set for 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.

Based on participants’ requests, the class may include tap, jazz, hip hop or musical theater numbers. No prior dance experience is required. Cost is $80.

World Dance Camp for children age four to seven is set for 1:30-3:00 p.m.

The camp features African, Indian, Native American and South American dances. Instructors will also explore languages, geography and cultures are explored for each region with singing, drumming, storytelling and crafts.

No prior dance experience is required. Cost is $160.

Workshops are scheduled for Pennington Presbyterian Church studio, 13 South Main St.

Enrollment is limited.
