As Chairman of the Hopewell Township Democratic Committee, I’m proud to announce the candidacy of Julie Blake for Hopewell Township Committee.

Julie Blake shares the principles that define the Democratic party. We believe that this country succeeds when everyone gets a fair shot, when everyone does their fair share, when everyone plays by the same rules. As a school counselor who spends her time guiding our youth, Julie Blake exemplifies these principles.

Julie Blake has demonstrated the level of commitment to our environment that is characteristic of the Democratic party’s proud history in Hopewell Township. With the threat of the PennEast Pipeline still looming, let’s remember that Democrats are the party that brought us the Stream Corridor Protection Ordinance in 2004, the Steep Slope Ordinance in 2007 and the Deer Management Program in 2011. The Democratic party’s commitment to our environment is evidenced not just by words, but by actions.

A vote for Julie Blake will be a vote to protect Hopewell Township from unwanted development that the Democratic party has fought and won in our past. Please join us in welcoming Julie Blake as our candidate, and please remember to vote for Julie on Primary Day, Tuesday, June 2, 2015.

Ray Disch

Hopewell Township Democratic Committee Chair
