The Hopewell Valley Youth Chorale is currently auditioning for the 2013-2014 season.

The chorale is seeking boys and girls for the Preparatory Choir, grades 3-5, conducted by Michele Alford, and the Concert Choir, grades 6-9, conducted by William Alford. The choirs perform together and separately.

In June the Concert Choir will travel to Denver, Colo. to sing with eight other choirs under the direction of Rollo Dilworth in the “Sing a Mile High Festival.”

The choirs regularly sing the National Anthem for the Trenton Titans and the Trenton Thunder. They have performed at the opening ceremony for the Hopewell Harvest Fair, and participate in youth choral festivals throughout the region.

Their regular local concerts are in January and June. Upcoming performances include the Trenton Thunder on May 19 and their Spring Concert on June 9 at 4 p.m. at Pennington Presbyterian Church.

The Hopewell Valley Youth Chorale will begin its eighth season with weekly rehearsals in September 2013 at The Pennington School. For more information about joining Hopewell Valley Youth Chorale visit www.HVYChorale.org, email HVYC@comcast.net or call 609-651-5474.
