Hopewell Valley Senior Services announces April events

Hopewell Valley Senior Services is set to hold several events in April.

A knitting and crocheting group will meet on April 9 and April 23 from 1:30 to 3:30 at the Hopewell Valley Senior Center. Participants should bring their own projects, patterns and materials. All ages and skill levels are welcome. Pre-registration is encouraged.

The Let’s Chat group with Vivian Greenberg will be meeting on April 11 from 1 to 2:30 p.m at the Hopewell Valley Senior Center.

The Hopewell Valley Senior Book Group will be meeting at the Hopewell Valley Senior Center on April 14 from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Diane Miller of Mercer County Library will be leading a discussion of Nancy Horen’s book Loving Frank. Pre-registration is encouraged for first time participants.

There will be a free luncheon for seniors on April 16 at 12:30 p.m. at Timberlane Middle School. Lunch will be followed by performances by the high school orchestra and chamber singers. Participants should RSVP to the Hopewell Township Recreation Department at (609) 737-3753.

The Hopewell Valley Senior Center is located at 395 Reading Street, Pennington.

Timberlane Middle School is located at 51 South Timberlane Drive, Pennington.
