Hopewell Township Parks and Recreation Department is sponsoring three trips in March.

Bus trips are to the Philadelphia Flower Show, a Philly Pops performance and a Broadway show.

The Philadelphia Flower Show is scheduled for March 6. This year’s theme is ARTiculture; the show focuses on how landscapes, gardens and floral arrangements have inspired artists.

The trip is set to depart from Independence Park at 9 a.m. and return at 4 p.m. The cost is $50 for township residents and $58 for non-residents.

A trip to the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia to see the Philly Pops pay tribute to Marvin Hamlisch is scheduled for March 15. Three of Marvin’s favorite singers will join the orchestra to perform classics like The Way We Were, Nobody Does It Better and selections from A Chorus Line.

This is set to trip depart at 1:30 p.m. and returns at 6:30 p.m. The program fee is $80 for residents and $92 for non-residents; it includes transportation and admission to the show.

A trip to New York City to see the new musical Bridges of Madison County is scheduled for March 26. Based on the novel by Robert Waller, this show stars four-time Tony nominee Kelli O’Hara and stage and screen star Steven Pasquale.

The musical drama tells the story of a devoted Iowa housewife and her unlikely four-day love affair with a National Geographic photographer.

The motor coach is set to depart at 10 a.m., with time for lunch on your own in the city prior to the 2 p.m. matinee show.

The program fee is $140 for residents and $160 for non-residents. The fee includes orchestra seating and transportation.
