The Hopewell Public Library is set to sponsor a spring wildflower hike on April 19 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Local environmentalists Rachel Mackow and Jared Rosenblum will lead an exploration of the emerging springtime growth of the Sourlands.

Mackow and Rosenblum co-own Wild Ridge Plants, a family business growing locally adapted native plants and educating and consulting on their uses, ecology and stewardship.

The event is free but registration is required due to limited space. The hike is on, rain or shine.

Contact the Hopewell Public Library at (609) 466-1625 for registration and details.
