Hopewell Public Library kicked off its third annual town-wide scavenger hunt on July 1, 2015. Using the summer reading program theme, “Every Hero Has a Story,” the scavenger hunt takes the walker on a “hero’s journey” around Hopewell.

Pictures of heroes of all types are posted in plain sight in store windows and other unexpected places on the route. Participants can do the hunt any time during July, and can break it up into shorter segments. It is recommended for adults, young adults and families; you do not have to be a library patron or Hopewell resident to participate.

Prizes include a massage from Art of Massage, a gift certificate from Sourland Cyclery and something you can’t resist from Twine, as well as a visit to the library prize bookshelf. Scavenger hunt booklets are available at the Hopewell Public Library, 13 East Broad Street, in Hopewell Borough.
