Hopewell Community Closet to open in June

Hopewell Community Closet, offering gently used clothing for men, women and children, is scheduled to open June 7.

Clothing is available for everyone for a free will donation or free to those that are financially struggling.

The mission of the Hopewell Community Closet is to provide access to free or low cost clothing to individuals and families that are financially struggling while maintaining their dignity and providing clothes to meet their needs.

This outreach is sponsored by the United Methodist Women of Hopewell Methodist Church and the free will donations accepted support UMW missions and outreach.

The closet, which includes seasonal clothing, shoes and accessories, is located at Hopewell Methodist Church’s Burton Hall, 20 Blackwell Ave., Hopewell. Shop hours are scheduled for 9 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday.

The June scheduled includes an 9 to 11:30 a.m. June 7, a grand opening 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 14 and 9 to 11:30 a.m. June 21.

Donations of gently used clothing, shoes and handbags will be accepted during business hours.
