VOICES, Hopewell-based community choruses, is set to host auditions for the 2014–15 concert season.

Auditions are scheduled for 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Sept. 13 and 5:30 to 7 p.m. Sept. 15 at Music Together, 225 Pennington-Hopewell Road, Hopewell.

Interested singers should call VOICES audition coordinator Sandy Duffy at (609) 799-2211 or email sandy.duffy@comcast.net, to set up an audition time.

The Chorale is scheduled to rehearses at Music Together on Monday evenings from 7:30–9:45 p.m. beginning Sept. 15.

All singers with good reading skills who enjoy performing a varied repertoire are encouraged to audition to sing with VOICES. The Chorale’s music selections range from Renaissance to contemporary, from spirituals and show music to the sacred and the classic, including choral masterworks and premieres by American composers.

Three major concerts are planned for the VOICES 2014-15 concert season. Christmastide is set for Dec. 19 and 20 in Richboro, Pa., and Hopewell; Irish Heartsong is set for March 14 and 15 in Princeton and Richboro, PA; and Mozart’s sublime Requiem is scheduled for May.

In addition, VOICES plans to repeat the successful reception of its first summer concert in Loveladies, on Long Beach Island next summer.

Besides concert performances, singers also have the opportunity to share their talents with underserved audiences at assisted living homes and to support the Young Composers Project for children age five to 12.
