The Hopewell Valley Arts Council is seeking artists to decorate oxen for its stampede.

The Hopewell Valley Stampede, scheduled for Fall 2014, will arrive with a display of life-sized oxen sculptures, painted and embellished by acclaimed and amateur artists.

Artists are invited to submit designs to embellish, adorn or otherwise enhance the unique fiberglass oxen sculptures into one-of-a-kind, beautiful works of art.

Artists must register online by Dec. 17 and submit a full design packet by Jan. 17.

More information is online at hvstampede.org.
