Hope Loves Company selects executive director

Hope Loves Company, Inc. has hired Laurie Kolano as its executive director.

Kolano began working with children and teens more than 25 years ago when she was an outreach coordinator with YouthSupport, a nonprofit helping vulnerable children. She also works with children in her roles with Good Grief as a facilitator and CASA as a court appointed advocate for foster children. She received a dual degree in biology and economics from Rutgers University.

The mission of Hope Loves Company is to provide educational and emotional support to children and young adults who have had or have a loved one battling ALS, (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) or Lou Gehrig’s disease. Hope Loves Company, Inc. was founded in 2012 by president and Titusville resident Jodi O’Donnell-Ames, who lost her husband to ALS in 2001.
