Har Sinai to present story of Purim set to music of Disney’s Frozen

Members of the Har Sinai Hebrew congregation plan to perform a Purim Spiel, a comic play that tells the story of Purim, set to the music of the Disney movie Frozen on Friday, March 6 at 7 p.m. The latest installment of Purim-related play, Purim Spiel, will continue the congregation’s tradition of comically adapting biblical stories to modern musical themes.

Community members are welcome to attend the Har Sinai Purim Spiel, located at 2421 Pennington Road. Refreshments will be served following the service.

The congregation also plans to host its’ annual Purim carnival on Sunday, March 8 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. The event will feature carnival games, crafts, food and prizes. The Mercer County New Jersey animal rescue organization, EASEL, will be set up at the carnival with cats and dogs available for adoption (weather permitting).
