The YWCA Princeton is set to host 10th annual ETS Firecracker 5K Run/Walk.

This USATF-certified event is set to take place June 24 on the ETS Campus in Princeton. The race is scheduled to kick off at 7:30 p.m., rain or shine.

Proceeds from the event support YWCA Princeton’s Bilingual Nursery School. The goal of this program is to provide non-English speaking preschool children the tools they need to enter school on par with their English-speaking peers.

First, second, and third place medals will be awarded to winners in age-group categories in five year increments through 85 plus.

The event also features music, post-race buffet and family activities.

Advanced registration is $22 for USATF members and $25 for non-USATF members.

Participants can also register on-site just prior to the race from 6 to 7:15 p.m. at ETS’ Conant Hall located at the corner of Rosedale and Carter Roads in Lawrenceville. Race day registration is $27 for USATF members and $30 for non-USATF members.
